Control Tuya and Smart Life devices with AI
Connect supported Smart Life devices to Port OS through Tuya. Use available lighting, plug, sensor, blind and other device controls from your AI assistant.
Bring supported Smart Life devices from different brands into your AI conversations. Port OS connects through Tuya and maps the controls available for each device, so you can use a lamp, plug or sensor without switching between brand apps.

What you can do
- Switch supported plugs and lights, adjust brightness and use available colour controls.
- Read supported temperature, humidity, contact, motion and leak sensors.
- Use available fan, blind and lock controls.
- Open supported camera live views or request a portion from a supported pet feeder.
Try “Turn off the floor lamp” or “What does the bedroom humidity sensor show?” Tuya devices expose different data points. A device category or Smart Life logo alone does not guarantee that a particular action is mapped in Port OS.
What you need
The current connection flow uses the Smart Life app on your phone. Devices should already work in that account. Find the app's User Code under Me > Settings > Account and Security, as shown in the Port OS setup form.
Use a computer, tablet or second screen to display the authorization QR code when the same phone runs Smart Life. Port OS adds no hub, but a device that already needs its own gateway still depends on that gateway.
Connect with Smart Life
- Choose Tuya and enter your Smart Life User Code in the website form.
- Generate the QR code, scan it with Smart Life's scanner and approve the connection in the app.
- Check Your Devices, then connect your AI and approve its intended access.
The provider linking guide explains the account and device discovery steps.
Compatibility and troubleshooting
If scanning has not completed, check for the approval screen in Smart Life before starting again. If the code has expired, generate a new one. Use the same app account that owns the intended devices.
Check missing devices in Smart Life first. For a connected device with a missing action, inspect its available Port OS controls rather than assuming every Tuya data point is supported. The lighting guide and sensor guide cover common tasks.
